- Cookstown and Dungannon Women's Aid [NI]
Women’s Aid is the lead voluntary organisation challenging domestic violence in Northern Ireland.
- Corpus Christi Youth Centre, Belfast [NI]
Corpus Christi Youth Centre takes forward the youth strategy for Upper Springfield involved the interviewing of 86 young people aged 14-20 year of age. They produced a 25 year strategy for the development of services within their community. The next stage for this development is the election of a youth forum for the area. This group will then feed into the BCC Shadow Youth Council, NI Youth Forum, NICCY, BELB youth forum, UK Youth Parliament and much more. The group will also sit on the local Neighbourhood Partnership and other policy making bodies within the area.
- Creative Youth Partnerships[NI]
Creative Youth Partnerships is a ground breaking initiative aimed at developing youth arts throughout Northern Ireland Over the next 3 years, it will offer long and short term programmes and develop projects aimed at increasing opportunities for children and young people in every locality to access and participate in the arts.
- Cruse Bereavement Care (NI) Youth Advisory Group (YAG) [NI]
The Youth Advisory Group is made up of bereaved young people aged 13-21 who meet at least once a quarter to give advice and offer consultation on the development and promotion of Cruse Children’s and Young people’s Services.
- Dáil na nÓg [Youth Parliament Ireland]
Dáil na nÓg means “youth parliament” and is a chance for the children and young people of Ireland to represent the views of all Irish children at national level. Dáil na nÓg delegates have the chance to let the decision makers in Government know what they think of issues that affect their daily lives, for example education and play facilities.
- Derry Children’s Commission [NI]
Derry Children’s Commission is an interagency partnership focused on promoting and protecting the rights of children and young people and ensuring that they are seen and heard in public decision making.
- Derry Shadow Youth Council [NI]
Derry Shadow Youth Council consists of 39 members ranging in age from 16 to 22 representing the various youth, community, education, geographical, political interests and the wider community.
- East Belfast Youth Forum[NI]
The East Belfast Youth Forum are a group of young people from East Belfast who strive to represent the views of young people in our community. They help voices to be heard around issues that impact on young peoples lives on a daily basis. The group have been in existence for two years and continue to work together on various issues and projects relevant to their area.
- Fermanagh Shadow Youth Council [NI]
Fermanagh Shadow Youth Council is a group of young people elected to give their age group a political voice.
- First Light[UK]
First Light is the UK Film Council’s young filmmaker’s initiative. We are a lottery funder and enable young people aged between five to 18 years to make short digital films.
