- Northern Ireland Youth Forum[NI]
The Northern Ireland Youth Forum was established in 1979 and its mission is to work to empower young people, enabling them to realise their full potential and become active citizens in society.
- Northern Visions [NI]
Northern Visions is an access media arts centre in Belfast offering training and resources in digital video, television and new media. Northern Visions is committed to offering opportunities to people marginalized by mainstream media or denied self and/or collective expression.
- Off the Streets Initiative[NI]
Off the Streets Initiative is a street Work project based in the Galliagh area of Derry.
- Omagh Youth Council [NI]
Omagh Youth Council is representative of the youth in the Omagh Area. It is open to all and the young people how much they would like to get involved.
- P.E.A.T Participation Project [NI]
The project is aimed at increasing the participation of young people with ASD and their siblings in local organisations and activities. A Young Peoples’ Steering Group has also been established to plan, design and implement activities and events for children and young people between the ages of 11 and 25 years of age.
- Parents & Paediatricians Together Project – Contact a Family [NI]
The aim of the project is to open up new opportunities for parents & carers of children & young people with a disability to have a say in shaping or developing their local regional child health services.
- Parents and Kids Together: Ballymena Central YCMA [NI]
PAKT is a holistic family support model used in family youth work throughout YMCAs in Ireland. We operate 3 strands, programmes for children, parents and families based around monthly themes such as citizenship, environmental awareness, community safety etc.
- Peer Mediation - Include Youth [NI]
Peer Mediation is a way of involving young people in managing conflict using non-threatening and co-operative methods that promote inclusiveness, respect and self-esteem. It involves 2 trained mediators guiding those in conflict through a series of steps so that they can find a way of resolving their problem. [PROJECT EVALUATED]
- Phab NI Inclusion Matters[NI]
Phab NI Inclusion Matters is the principal independent and voluntary youth organisation, which works for inclusion of young people with and without a disability in our society by providing personal development and youth work opportunities for 3 – 25 year olds. One in six of the young people under 25 in Northern Ireland has a disability
- Play Quest - PlayBoard [NI]
The Play Quest programme is designed to increase children’s participation (age 0 -10 years) through positive play opportunities and experiences. The aim of the programme is to support children, staff and parents to embed the principles and values of playwork to achieve effective participation.
