- Strand Foyer – North & West Housing Association [NI]
Bytes Project will encourages and supports those young people who, by their social environment or personal experience, face obstacles to personal development.
- Streetbeat Youth Project[NI]
Streetbeat Youth Project works alongside alienated and marginalised young people who are at risk, identifying and responding to their needs. To do this they seek to provide positive constructive alternatives to anti-social behaviour and enable young people to make informed choices , feel empowered and enhance life opportunities
- Sunnylands Youth Project [NI]
Sunnylands Youth Project works the marginalised and at risk in the Carrickfergus, Greenisland and Whitehead area.
- The Belfast Door Project[NI]
The project aims to target young people between the ages of 15-19 yrs present on the streets of Belfast city centre. It will target those abusing drugs, alcohol and solvents as well as those with sexual exploitive behaviours.
- The Cedar Foundation Youth Matters Services [NI]
Children and Young People’s involvement in The Cedar Foundation Children and Young People’s Services is intrinsic to the planning of services. Youth Action Team’s drive the development of activities and projects including social events, project work, residential’s and collaboration with other groups and agencies. Young People are also represented on The Cedar Foundation’s User Forum.
- The Children and Young People’s Forum – The Big Deal [NI]
As part of The Big Deal we are establishing a Children and Young People’s Forum. Those recruited to it will have the opportunity to shape and contribute to the running of The Big Deal by becoming either an Award Panel and/or Steering Committee member.
- The Educational Shakespeare Company[NI]
The Educational Shakespeare Company has a youth advisory board, males and females (diverse targets) aged 13-25, who meet once a month in order to discuss the films they want to make and then raise money to make them.
- The Give and Take Scheme – Include Youth [NI]
The Give & Take Scheme provides supported work to vulnerable young people (aged 16 - 21) who for various reasons are unable to participate in mainstream training and employment opportunities.
- The Inside Out Programme [NI]
The Inside Out Group are a pioneering, pro active group which seeks to redress the legacy of youth misrepresentation in Claudy.
- The Nexus Institute, Young Person’s Personal and Social Education Programme [NI]
The purpose of this project is to raise awareness of sexual abuse, providing education and information on sexual health issues in a relaxed setting to groups of young people aged 13-25 and parents and young people with learning disabilities by employing a full time education worker to work in both rural and urban areas.
