- VOYPIC - Making Connections[NI]
Making Connections is a participation project which provides an introduction to Voice of Young People in care. The project offers care experienced children and young people across Northern Ireland, the opportunity to take part in various programmes and activities, enabling them to make connections with their peers, VOYPIC, and other relevant professionals and agencies.
- VOYPIC’s Caspar Project[NI]
VOYPIC is an independent regional voice that seeks to empower and enable children and young people with an experience of care to participate fully in decisions affecting their lives. Our aim is to improve their life chances through working in partnership with children, young people, staff, managers, agencies and Government. This research targeted young people either in or leaving care, aged 12-25 in the Eastern Health and Social Services Board Area. The Young People’s Advisory Group are a group of care experienced young people aged 16-25 from across Northern Ireland.

Our aim is to improve their life chances through working in partnership with children, young people, staff, managers, agencies and Government.
- VOYPIC’s Policy Project, Shaping the Changes[NI]
The “Shaping the Changes� Project provides opportunities for care experienced young people throughout Northern Ireland to inform and shape legislation, policy and practice which impacts on their lives. We ensure that the views and opinions of young people with whom we work are fed back to Government, Statutory and Voluntary agencies responsible for the design, delivery and evaluation of services for care experienced young people.
- Waterside Youth Forum – WELB[NI]
This is a cross community group for young people. There is an emphasis on dis-engaged young people participating in this group, this is give opportunities to gain skills to young people who would not usually be considered for this type of work
- WAVE[NI]
WAVE, a grass roots, cross community, voluntary organisation was formed in 1991 to support people bereaved of a spouse as a result of violence in Northern Ireland. It was expanded later to incorporate the needs of young people and children and anyone traumatised through ‘the troubles’.
- Wheelworks [NI]
Designed specifically to showcase the creative work of young people across Northern Ireland.
- Women into Politics [NI]
Women Into Politics aimss to provide support, encouragement and training to young women in order to bring about their full participation at all levels of public and political life.
- Young Citizens in Action[NI]
The project provides opportunities to get involved in youth led projects, including a recent project to actively promote volunteering amongst young people in Greater Belfast. Young Citizens in Action also has a Website - created by young people, for young people. Check it out at http://www.youngcitizens.org.uk
- Young Independents Group aka The HOPE Mentoring Project [NI]
The Young Independents Group involves young care leavers in the design and delivery of user-friendly services.
