Published in 2002, this is the first ever survey which looks at training, support and developmental needs of Participation Workers in England. Its main recommendation was the need for a Participation Workers Network. Carnegie YPI has taken this recommendation forward. This is good piece of starter reading for anyone starting out in Particpation Work and provides a good context for your understanding of particiaption and what the other countries in the UK are doing.
