How are the Children and Young People involved?
Young people are fully responsible for all aspects of the running of the East Belfast youth Forum. The East Belfast Youth Forum are a group of young people from East Belfast who strive to represent the views of young people in our community. They help voices to be heard around issues that impact on young peoples lives on a daily basis. The group have been in existence for two years and continue to work together on various issues and projects relevant to their area.  The East Belfast Youth Forum are supported by the Belfast Education and Library Board Youth Service and the Carnegie United Kingdom Trust

What did or what has the project/initiative achieved in terms of positive change for the organisation or/and the children and young people?
New skills. Friendship. Opportunities to meet with and work with others. Work experience. Greater understanding ofissues affecting young people. Experience at working with people in power.
