HeadsUp [E/NI/S/W]
HeadsUp is a website designed to encourage young people to take a greater interest in Parliament and Government.
The site helps them to learn about politics via issues, introducing them to political terms and how parliament and government is structured. It gives them the space to explore their views and opinions and ensure that their voice is heard.
The site has been produced by the Hansard Society, and is funded by the DfES, the Children and Young Persons Unit, The Electoral Commission, the Carnegie Trust and the House of Commons.
The content is suitable mainly for students between 14 and 17 and it can be used as part of the new Citizenship curriculum.
