This is training manual for practitioners to engage with individuals working with Looked after children.
The LACE Project’s “Making It Count� Training Manual is aimed at parents, carers, teachers, social workers and other professionals who have a role in supporting the education of looked after children and young people. It is an introduction to the complex issues that looked after children and young people, as well as the relevant agencies, have to deal with.
It is designed so that additional information can be incorporated into the Training Manual as future policy and legislation changes take place.
