NCH one of the UK’s leading children’s charities, helping children achieve their full potential. Through our services we support some of the UK’s most vulnerable and excluded children and young people.
NCH runs 34 projects that give children and families the opportunity to have their say and to find their own ways of overcoming difficulties.
These include:
children’s rights and advocacy services that help to protect vulnerable children, such as those in care, and make sure their voices are heard
mediation services that help parents who are separating to resolve contact and financial issues, and to focus on their children’s welfare at this difficult time
mentoring and independent visitor schemes that link children who are in care or having difficulties at school with volunteer befrienders who can support, encourage and advise them
