How are Children and Young People Involved?
Off the Streets Initiative is a street Work project based in the Galliagh area of Derry. We work 7 nights - the Street Work team are out Sunday – Thursday (7pm-11pm) and Friday & Saturday evening (7.30pm-12.30am). The Youth Outreach Programme operates 3 nights a week Tuesday-Thursday and offers young people the chance to get involved and participate in their Community. We work with young people 11 - 17years old from the Greater Shantallow Area. One such example of participation would be the Galliagh Youth Forum.
