Specific Target Group: Children and Young people with ASD and their siblings
Age Range: 11-25
How do the Children and/ or Young People participate? i.e. level of involvement and method
Young people with ASD and their siblings will form a Steering Group which will decide on the activities and events to attend. The steering group will also be involved in organising these events.
What did or what has the project/initiative achieved in terms of positive change for the organisation or/and the children and young people?
The project has only recently been established. However, increased participation of children and young people with ASD in local events and organisations will have positive benefits, not only for the young people with ASDs, but also their parents and siblings, and the wider community through increased awareness of ASD.
