How are Children and Young People Involved?
As part of the Big Deal, PlayBoard have developed the Play Quest Programme which will promote fun and creative play opportunities for children (0 -10 years). The programme will focus on the engagement of children through the medium of play. The Play Quest Team will research existing good practice regarding the participation of 0 - 10 year olds and work with organisations in Northern Ireland to embed the principles and values of effective participation.
We will support groups and organisations to explore ways to include children who would not traditionally participate. This exciting programme will inform the development of a participation strategy for children and those working with them in Northern Ireland.
