Shaping the Changes develops participative practice models that ensure care experienced children and young people inform and shape legislation, policy and practice which impacts on their lives.
VOYPIC ensures that the views and opinions of young people with home we work are fed back to Government, Statutory and Voluntary agencies responsible for the design, delivery and evaluation of services for care experienced young people.
How are Children and Young People Involved?
This is done in the following:
• Children’s Services Planning
• After Care Practitioner’s Group
• Residential Building Programme
• Employing care experienced young people
• Sessional project workers
• Leaving and aftercare
