CIS Turning Point(Communities in Schools)
Provides support to 11-14 year olds in N&W. Mentors offer direction, guidance and options to help make school a more rewarding and positive experience for these vulnerable young people.
AM (Adult Mentoring)
A project in N&W Belfast helps 15-19 yrs olds develop confidence, self-awareness and life skills. Our young people are often early school leavers requiring support as they make the transition into adulthood and independence.
CIS (Communities in Schools) Peer Mentoring
This is a project that works within schools in N&W Belfast in order to actively help promote inclusion and empower children. Peer mentoring affords an older student the oportunity to gain accreditation and work on a one-to-one basis with a younger student. It provides the unique opportunity to provide ongoing support and guidance to younger students to help them make it through a difficult period of their lives.
Mentoring provides a unique opportunity for volunteers to work on a one-to-one basis with a vulnerable child or young person. It involves listening, encouraging, challenging and empowering in a safe and supportive environment.

Turning Point provides all the resources, guidance and support necessary to make YOU an effective mentor.
OUR MOTTO
“In one hundred years from now it will be of little consequence whether I drove a nice car, owned a luxurious home or had a high profile job. But the world may be a better place I was important in the life of a child”.
