Age Group: up to the age of 25 years
Children and Young People’s involvement:
VOYPIC is an independent regional voice that seeks to empower and enable children and young people with an experience of care to participate fully in decisions affecting their lives. Our aim is to improve their life chances through working in partnership with children, young people, staff, managers, agencies and Government.
We do this through listening and learning and facilitating change which impacts and influences legislation, policy and practice.
Core services include participation, policy, advocacy, mentoring and research. Young people are actively involved within each of these programmes of work.
Young people participate in the organization in a variety of ways, ranging from participation in one of events, as members of the agency, service users, as volunteers on short, medium or long term projects or as sessional or full time project workers.
