Age group:Young people participating in the research were aged between 12-20 years. Members of the Young People’s Advisory Group are aged 16-25.
Specific Interest Group: The research targeted young people either in or leaving care, aged 12-25 in the Eastern Health and Social Services Board Area. The Young People’s Advisory Group are a group of care experienced young people aged 16-25 from across Northern Ireland.
How are Children and Young People Involved?
51 young people took part in the research, this involved completion of a depth interview and for some participating in a focus group discussion. The Young People’s Advisory Group, advise the project team on an ongoing basis and are involved in design and delivery aspects of the project’s research and development.
