Do you use a specific model/guide/theme? YES
We would use a model similar to the one used by the Department of Education and Science (England) which recognizes flexibility methods of participation to suit the specific situation
What are the advantages of using your model/guide?
It allows for all levels of participation and is nonjudgemental
What did or what has the project/initiative achieved in terms of positive change for the organisation or/and the children and young people?
Young people from the North West area have helped some health services with specific pieces of work. Over 200 young people met with 70 service providers at a conference in Decmber05 to voice issues relevant to these services. We are developing a structure to link youth groups to children’s service planning on a annual basis. We are raising awareness and providing training for managers and staff of health and social services.
Any further /additional information on your project/initiative?
We are a cross border project funded by Interreg.
