This workshop will give participants a theoretical context to group work and will focus on the practical skills needed to work with children and young people in group situations.  The workshop will have a mixture of presentations, discussions & experimental learning opportunities.

Participants will be give the opportunity to:

  • Develop a knowledge of group work processes
  • Develop skills in group facilitation
  • Prepare, plan and design sessions
  • Manage Conflict and Difficulties
  • Assess and Evaluate the Group Work Processes
  • Evaluate their own performance
