Working with Groups of Children & Young People
This workshop will give participants a theoretical context to group work and will focus on the practical skills needed to work with children and young people in group situations. The workshop will have a mixture of presentations, discussions & experimental learning opportunities.
Participants will be give the opportunity to:
- Develop a knowledge of group work processes
- Develop skills in group facilitation
- Prepare, plan and design sessions
- Manage Conflict and Difficulties
- Assess and Evaluate the Group Work Processes
- Evaluate their own performance
